I love the visuals paired with the scripture readings. God has to be a lover of architecture and order! The slide with the stones set in a pattern really spoke to me; also the heart-shaped stone. Pardon the pun, but these slides ROCK!
Stones, rocks, bricks, buildings, cornerstone...all of these words remind me of God's purpose for us; to be the living "temples" that are "built" on the solid "foundation" of Jesus Christ. For every follower of Jesus, these "building blocks" are necessary parts of a kingdom life here on Earth, as it is in Heaven. We must each build upon the foundation, the cornerstone, the rock of salvation and that is Jesus, NOW! We, as followers, must draw closer to Him through sacrificing(and changing) EVERYTHING about ourselves in order to become the beautiful living stones that God intended for us to become. God so loves us that He sacrificed his one and only son, Jesus Christ, so that we may accept, follow and emerge as the living stones by building each other up and by living a missional life to the world around us.
